In 2018 I was wanting to start a blog and eCommerce but not to sure exactly where or how to start a blog, after watching many videos on Youtube with John Mitchel and also researching on Google I realized I was over complicating the whole thing.

The simple truth is you don’t need any technical or special skills to start your very own blog, soi start off with blogger.com which is free by google.

On November 12, 2018, I met in an accident the fracture my lumbar spine one causing me to be in bed that's when I decide to take blogging seriously.

You can start a blog for free with blogger.com which is by google or you can spend from as little as $3 or $4 a month, and these normally included a free domain name for your blog too. (Whats a domain I hear you say) Don’t worry we will cover this

Blogging For Beginners – How to start a blog step by step guide from scratch:

Step #1 Register your domain name.

This is the name that your visitors will type into Google, bins or yahoo to find you. 

Picking a name – This can be tough because sometimes you think you have the perfect name only to go and register it to find someone has it all ready. Try picking out at least three names just to be on the safe side.

Now, remember your name should be easyly memorable in a catchy way so people can always remember it with easy and it should relate to your blog in some way shape or form.

Now you have your domain name all sorted, next you need hosting, but what is hosting? Think of your hosting as the landlord or landlady of your blog. You need to pay a small fee each month for where your blog shall live on the internet.

For starting out with a blog, I would start with the basics such as the shared package to get you started on your blogging journey. If you want to change this later then you can and you just pay the difference.

5 - Make sure your details are correct

6 – Finally you will be asked to enter a password. Use a strong password for this.

Step 3 – Installing WordPress

Now ready for hosting, so log into Bluehost and go to your cPanel, then click on install WordPress (Third box down on the left-hand side)

Next, you select the domain name to install on WordPress, click the drop-down box and select your domain you want to use.

The next screen you will see is advanced options, here is where you choose your own username and also password, this is how you will log into your blog.

Use something unique and try a combination of numbers, symbols, and caps locked letters. Next click install now
